Awaken Planet!: Yoga and Reforestation

Start the new year off by aligning your heart, mind, and actions in service of life. Join 2 dynamic yoga teachers and tree planting organizations, as we grow our poses from a deep affirmation of life and express our care for the earth through planting a forest.
WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
~ Two asana workshops with certified Anusara yoga teachers Katchie Ananda and KK Ledford
~ Planting hundreds of trees with Greenfriends and Common Vision
~ Aligning with Nature’s principle and processes to create a resilient and productive ecosystem
~ Vegetarian Lunch and Dinner
Yoga workshops will be mixed level. Additional trained teachers will work with beginning students even as advanced students are challenged.
YOUR YOGA TEACHERS:
Katchie Ananda is an internationally recognized yoga teacher whose leadership in yoga and social change prompted Yoga Journal to name her one of five top yoga teachers making change in the world and East Bay Express to name her 2008 "Best Yoga Teacher".
KK Ledford infuses her clear, potent, and playful teachings with exploration of the spiritual journey within the web of ecology, the weavings of mythology, and the beautiful paradoxes of embodiment.
